Girls while growing into young women often face a number of challenges in their life. They need a lot of support and help in their journey.

Having worked with adolescents for over three decades and having been a mother of teens, Hema Vinod has put together a transformational book for girls using the 7 steps that aim at making girls and young women ask the right questions. These 7 steps help girls take the appropriate actions to bring change and improvement in their lives. The 7 questions are:

Who am I?
How can I be happy?
How can I be effective?
How can I reach my aim in life?
How can I be the best version of myself?
How can I lead a healthy life?
How can I nurture my relationships?

In addition to the seven questions, the book sets forth personal one to one interaction with 10 successful women who have shared their journey and wisdom which will be a great inspiration for girls. The book with its tools and techniques, if practiced will lay the foundation for a sound, healthy and happy future for every girl and young woman.

Using her vast repertoire as a parent, coach, humanitarian and educationist Hema has over the years evolved into an author who supports teens and their parents in the challenging transition in their life.

About the Authour

Ms Hema Vinod’s professional journey through the decades has had a keen focus on children and women. She began her career as an educator in various schools in India, DRC and Congo. She then moved to humanitarian work which took her to various conflict affected countries over a span of seventeen years, such as Uganda, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Somalia and Iraq. Her journey has been a most interesting and challenging one taking her to some of the most troubled conflict affected spots in the world. The rich experiences and expertise gained from her work and interactions with children and women has inspired her to write the book which will be a guide and mentor for girls around the world.

She returned to India in 2020, did her training to be a Coach from IPEC which is the foremost in the Coaching arena and also wrote her first book for parents, Parenteening Made Simple which went on to become a best seller on Amazon.

In 2022, she worked on her second book for girls and young women which is called, ‘Girl Empower Yourself’. She wrote this book to empower girls as through her vast experience in education, she felt girls lacked the role models and mentors in their growing up years.
